Nada Jones
Through Nada's seven years with nedandshell, she has played the role of CEO, editor, business developer, publicist, accountant, HTML destroyer and most recently author. Transitioning nedandshell from a hard copy magalog to an online retailer and wholesale showroom for emerging talent exposed her to the numerous aspects of running a small business. In addition to creating an online newsletter (Weekly Dose), Nada grew nedandshell's coveted audience of opinion leaders and influencers by combining traditional and new media marketing efforts. While representing emerging designers, Nada's grass roots public relations approach garnered press coverage from such publications as InStyle, Lucky, LuckyMag.com, Newsweek, WWD, Jane and the New York Post to name a few.
Prior to co-founding nedandshell, Nada enjoyed a diverse communications career in marketing, advertising and public relations. Along the way she has worked with many well known brands such as Estee Lauder, Bloomingdales, Carolee, Nike and Patagonia as well as several small entrepreneurial companies.
An entrepreneur at heart, Nada knew she had the start-up bug when she launched her first business venture, 360 Degrees, in 1997. Her company imported hand-blown glass from international artisans.
